Samsung finally beat Apple into the wearable gadgets segment by giving the world a sneak peek into the Galaxy Gear, its first smartwatch. Sporting a 1.63-inch Super AMOLED (320x320 pixel res) display, 4GB internal memory, 512 MB RAM and an 800 MHz processor, the Gear's designed tp be a companion device for a smartphone, connecting over Bluetooth, pulling notifications and voice calls. It runs on a custom build of Android, offering good voice recognition features to interact with your phones in a handsfree mode. It also supports quite a variety of apps.

There's a brand new Galaxy Note phablet on its way for all who can't decide between a tablet or smartphone purchase. The device's 5.7-inch Super AMOLED screen touts a Full HD resolution and its frame packs a 13MP shooter with a whole host of dazzling features. It's slated to be available in two configs: the LTE version sporting a quad-core 2.3 GHz Krait 400, while the 3G only model featuring a quad-core 1.9 GHz Cortex A15 or quad-core 1.3GHz Cortex A7 SoC. It packs in a whooping 3GB of RAM, which should deliver a pleasant user experience and performance. And it comes with a stylus, too.
